Pascale Judet was born and raised in France, the fifth child in a family of eight. She moved to the United States in 1969, initially to attend graduate school in philosophy at U.C. Berkeley. In the early seventies, she turned to art and never changed her path after that. She now lives on Vashon Island in Washington State with her husband of 50 years, John Weinshel, a database developer (http://www.datagrace.biz). Their son, Gabriel Judet-Weinshel is a musician and film maker (http://waxwingfilms.com) who lives in Brooklyn with his wife Pilar Valdes, a chef extraordinaire (http://kickshawcookery.com) . She recently published a cookbook (Rebel Homemaker) in collaboration with Drew Barrymore.
And that's the whole story.
